try your LDS first..leisure PRO is usually not an authorized dealer, (they sell whatever they want) so your warrenty from the manufracture (spelling?) you know what i mean...is out the window. ive heard good things about LP though, good prices, but its really just an LDS i think in NEW YORK, might as well try to stay local. alot of people look down on them,

I had a genisis computer from les pro, and i had some issues with it after about 40 dives. I gave them a call and they gave me a adress and a return number and in two weeks they replaced it. They have been great to me and i have had no issues at all. every dive buddy i have has bought alot of stuff from them, and none of us had any issues with annuals or service from our lds.

LP is not a Suunto authorized dealer.

However LP does warrant all products they sell themselves with a warranty equal to the manufacturers terms.

I’m not a fan of Suunto computers I find them overly conservative. I do prefer Oceanic computers and LP is a authorized dealer for them.

I have bought all of my equipment through Leisure Pro and had a great experience each time. Their prices are great and the delivery was really fast. I did exchange a wetsuit and they made it easy. I would definitely recommend them.

Most of my current equipment and all of my kids came from Leisure Pro, no issues and no problems with returns or getting the gear serviced at the LDS.

Ditto on the Oceanic computers, between me and the kids we have three, I also have a Cochran, it cost more and doesn’t have time of day or date like the Oceanic’s.

When it comes to customer satisfaction I have never been done wrong with leisure pro. always a great price and they have stood behind what they sell.

If you are going to dive in colder temps make sure your computer can take it.

I bought two Suunto Vypers from LP in 2007. I got a good price and my dive buddy and I have not had any issues with the computers.

Bought a Wisdom 2 from Leisure Pro. In fact, bought most of my equipment from Leisure Pro. Very helpful staff. Had some issues with a used BC I bought from them, and they went out of their way to get answers. When they didn’t know, they would call the manufacturer for me. My Wisdom 2 is my first computer, so I have nothing to compare it too, but I love it. Does both air, and Nitrox. Easy to use buttons, very big numbers, and it does everything but enjoy the dive for me. It was a little pricey, but like I said, I love the thing.

I never dealt with ANY online business before and I wont unless I have too. Your local dive shop will usually help you in any area you need. It also helps to purchase through your local dive shop so they can stay in business and serve the public better. You may save a few bucks with an online deal, but do you want to see your lds close because they are being under cut by only afew dollars? Buying from your lds also helps stimulate your local economy.

I prefer to buy local IF the prices are reasonably close. I’ve bought a number of items from LP and have always gotten great service. The one time I had to exchange a wetsuit it was no questions asked and done within 3 days. Their PFF guarantee is for real.

I’ve been dealing with Leisure Pro for more than 15 years. Always great service, never any problems. Fast service.
