Thanks! I sure would like to know some of the things I’m swimming with down there, and usually it isn’t too hard for me to find an answere. This little guy had the guys/gals at the dive shop stumped though.

Based on the tail fins, I’d say its some type of Wrasse. Don’t know which region you’re diving in, but if you let me know I’ll be happy to have a look in my books :o)

Here we go... Possibly part of the Banded Wrasse family. there are thousands of variations, however this is the closest I can find... All pictures are Banded Wrasse so you can see how much they vary
