Many other manufactures do allow their products to be sold online and they still honor the warranty. Just make sure to check with the online retailer and even contact the manufacture to be sure. Of course it`s always recommended that you have all online purchases inspected by your local dive shop. I would buy something online, especially if I can save 50%...but I would never jump into the water without a good inspection from a pro. Dive shops need to stop being so uptight about the internet. Buying online is here to stay, embrace it, work with it. Stop fighting it. Offer fitting services and inspection. Provide internet terminals in your shop for price comparison. Don`t charge more than 15% of the internet price. Bad mouthing the internet is only making you look outdated.
