I am wearing a semi dry suit. I have been diving in fla. the last week some no matter what I wear I will be cold. I just want to do a couple of dives to start getting use to the cold water again.

Cold is relative to your tolerance but, on a sunny day if you just want to get wet and stay above 30’ you should be comfortable in a 7 mil wet suit.

I dive Dutch later in the summer in a 1 mil above 30’

I need to plan ahead, and I hate the cold too. I am dry suit certified but sold my dry suit 6 years ago when I got divorced - no room to store it in tiny apartment. I have a 7mm suit and would not be interested in dealing with the thermocline situation so it would have to be shallow, but I need to keep my certification current and so want to go. Please keep me posted on other trips you plan to take there

I went yesterday and the temp at 60’ was 46. You r going to have to wait a few more weeks for it to warm up. The new jet is worth the trip
