I’ll be in Mertle Beach, S.C. for a wedding(not mine) the second half of April. I’m thinking of packing my dive gear. Are there any good dive outfits near there and how cold will the water be?

I used to dive with Coastal Scuba but the last time I looked their web site was down; however, Express Watersports seems to be squared away and offer rec to tech dives.

There is a lot of good dives off North & South Carolina. Expect low 70’s that time of year. Dive boats tend to have lots of vacancies & flexibility that time of year.

Thanks for the reply. Water temp looks like it’l be around 66, warm enough for my 7mil. Nu Horizons Dive and Travel looks perfect. I’ll contact them. How do you know all this from Germany? Nick.
