The only time I feel queasy sometimes is on the dive boat in 4 - 6 foot seas. But once I’m in the water, I feel better instantly.
The article you quoted is correct - avoid the gassy foods. Most of the dive boats serve fruit and veggies between dives, which are gassy. I bring a peanut butter and jelly sandwich with me and a bottle of Snapple iced tea to replenish my energy between dives.
