By popular demand, you can now select the distance for the "near me" notification emails when a new member joins.
From Edit Profile > Edit Account...select the drop down next to "Notify me when a new member joins that is near my location" and choose either 25, 50, 100 or 150 miles (40, 80, 160, 240 km).
It used to be hard coded to 100 miles (160 km), now you have a choice.
To reduce the number of emails notifications you receive if you live in a populated area, choose a shorter distance like 25 or 50 miles. If you live in the boonies and don’t mind traveling long distances to meet new dive buddies, choose 150 miles :)
