I keep seeing the message below, but I already received an email saying my membership was verified?

Once your membership has been reviewed and approved by a DiveBuddy admin, you will be able to post comments.

Greg has to manually approve your membership so you have full access to all the sites features.

They had to do this to stop spammers from creating fake accounts and posting spam. This question pops up over and over. The thought occurs to me the approval process and why it’s there should be in the greeting email you get after you create an account.

From LariatAdvance: I hear that excuse all the time from different facebook groups and Internet forums. But DB’s web host company probably doesn’t charge any more per month to add some more admins to approve join requests, ya know.

We have plenty of moderators on DiveBuddy, but I have not added the ability for them to approve new members. That privilege is mine only right now :)
