I doubt it. I’m sure the dive computer you use must have a matching transmitter from the same company.

There are some computers that use a common transmitter technology. IIRC, Oceanic, Hollis, Sherwood, Aqualung, and Shearwater can be interchanged. Others, such as Scuba Pro and Suunto, use their own proprietary transmitters and will work with their respective brands only.

After a little more research, I found the following info...
Oceanic, Aqua Lung, Sherwood, and Shearwater transmitters, along with discontinued or defunct brands Aeris, Hollis, and Tusa, are all manufactured by the Pelagic Pressure Systems (now owned by Aqua Lung), and marked on the end battery cap with FCC ID MH8A. Since they use the same transmitter technology, the are interchangable between all these brands.
Suunto, Scubapro, Mares, Ratio, Heinrichs Weikamp, and discontinued Liquivison transmitters are proprietary and will only work within their own brand.
Hopes this helps.

Thanks Gregg , I think I will go with Air integrated .....

You’re welcome. I currently have a Suunto Vyper Novo air integrated which I really like it. But if I ever have to replace it, I will probably take a look at one of the other brands that have the common transmitters. I will take a serious look at the Shearwater Perdix AI. Most divers that own it rave about t plus the computer uses user replaceable "AA" batteries.

Thanks for the detailed response GreggS. I would have never guessed that they are interchangeable. I also try to stay away from proprietary products if I can.
