Pic was taken with my old Olympus and I regularly turned the flash intensity down to the minimum so as not to "wash out" the photos and, in this case, also pointed the strobe straight up so as to reflect down off other fronds above my focus area.

Ben - nice online dive log - I enjoyed reading some of your recent dive log in Cozumel. I was there about a month earlier at the same resort and it reminded of some great time. Let me know if you ever want to come dive a little more south... cheers!
