The game plan and traffic hopefully going to plan, we are going to try to be there by 8:30 or 9: on Saturday. I have not yet looked into the weather yet but I don’t think that will be a factor.

If things look to change I will drop you a note here.

Hi Jim,

Have you heard any new news if the Ocala Dive club is going to be at Paradise next weekend (Jan 24th)?

Thanks for the comment. We actually stuck the flower in his arm, made several faces for the camera and he still wouldn`t wake up! (There was about 8 of us in the room) We had so much fun!

Jim, It was nice to meet you, too. It`s alway neat to put a face in person to people you meet online. I`m going diving again this weekend with a different buddies, so I hope our sightings are as exciting as they were this past weekend. I`ll let you know. Looking forward to seeing you down this way again! Sandy

Hi Jim - Thanks for your photo comment. Yeah, I picked that photo for a couple of reasons. And that babe was good diver too. She was with my group inside a dark engine room at a little over 32 meters. - I have been diving since 2001, I am interested to develop small groups of divers to travel and dive in the Philippines and SE Asia without the "package trip" feel - 3 to 10 persons in a travel group. Independent dive travel to small dive operations on a budget. I have been a Peace Corp Volunteer and done international development work for over 35 years, so I travel to see the country and know the people where I am traveling. Let me know if you are interested and I will send you more information. I am not a travel agent, tour guide or dive master/instructor, just a diver that likes international travel. See my profile for some trip blogs and photos of several trips. Best regards - Ed Arata

Hey Jim, Yeah I remember awhile ago around January 2001 I dove there....It was 38 degrees outside! How much does it cost there now? I used to live in Leesburg and was cavern ceritified in Paradise Springs and Nitrox/Rescue through C+N Divers of Eustis. I was considering going to Blue Springs Sat.or somewhere. Are you interested?

We went back in April and it was amazing.
key_largo_diver - 10/25/2007 12:45 PM
The Red Sea was very nice. Objectively comparing it to other areas that I`ve been diving, I would say it had very healthy and amazing coral walls. Very colorful. It is in the top 2 in terms of the number of fish.. Visibility was nice as well, between 80 and 120 feet every day. On the down side, it was a bit one dimensional. As spectacular as they are, every dive is a wall drift dive, and they really only have one wreck. It reminds me of Cozumel with more coral and different fish. All in all, It was very nice, and I`ll go back and see some more of it. It was certainly the first time I ever took a Camel to the dive site, instead of a boat!
