Reminds me of my rescue class, when we got to Willow Springs it was frozen over so it became an ice diving class but not thick enough to sit on like that.

I lived most of my life on Lake Erie where we measure snow in feet not inches :) My dive club had a ice diving team which I was a member of, we would dive every Sunday when the ice was good. Yes, the ice is thick, if it was a cold winter it would get close to a foot thick.
