...and this is Ishmael, since he couldn’t find a shark, he has opted for giving us an example of bimbo riding...

Well for starters, there is no kitchen remotely close to that woman.
There is nothing "wrong" but I am not sure his octo might be closer to her triangle of safety than his own.

It happens quite frequently in the Middle East. I have seen people jump in holding the tank. I was on a dive one time and saw an octupus (scuba) just dangling in front of me. I thought it had fell off the boat but the reg was being used by one of the dive hands who just grabbed a tank, mask, reg and fins and dove in to join us. He was holding the tank under one arm and we all stayed unedr for about an hour.
@scubadad. Instructors have good breath control so they can dive twice on one tank. I’m at that point now and I’m nowhere close to the number of dives the average instructor makes.

I was just wondering. At my 1st dive to about 60’, I sucked my air like I had just run a race. Judging by the picture the guy is breathing hard, and as a person new to diving (I assume) Their tank had to be almost empty at this point. How the heck did they have enough air for two people to do "site seeing" at 55’? Did he willingly sacrifice safety to cop a feel? Is he really an instructor or one of those people that gives the dive industry a black eye? You know the ones who may or may not be certified past basic open water, but pretend to be dive masters/ instructors who do anything underwater to get money. I have seen a few around the world with no scruples. To them it is a business that occasionally claims victims. ok ok off my soap box...

Did he willingly sacrifice safety to cop a feel? He’s a dude! what do you think?

Either way you look at it instructor or diver - someone needs to take a pony bottle to his noggin for putting this girl inthat much jeopardy. No excuse.

I have seen this myself while diving in Saudi Arabia. They were not that deep only around ten to twelve feet.

The question should be "what is NOT wrong with this scuba diver". Too much BAD going on to list.

1- The man has removed his tank cam-band and replaced it with his lead belt. This will not hold a tank and there is no way to drop lead.
2- the woman has no fins. If the man looses his, they are both up sh creak.
3- the woman has no BCD.
4- there is one tank and no backup for both of them.
5- the only backup they have is the octopuss she is already breathing from.

Horny and STUPID are NOT mutually exclusive! They go hand in hand ust like the picture shows.

Wow, some very strange comments to this picture. I see a lot wrong with
this picture and if this is a 55’, this girl is great peril. No fins, no
secondary tank. If something were to go wrong, could she make it to the
surface alone and how long could she remain swimming? She has no BC, no
tank, not even an emergency air supply. It does appear that she has the
second stage in her mouth, but no bubbles out, maybe she is taking a
breath in. Does she know not to stop breathing for any reason and could
she blow bubbles for 55’ if something goes wrong? How long has she been down? She is totally relying on this guy for her life and the fact that his equipment is not going to have any problems. This looks like a very possible death scenario.

Hey! My cute dive instructor didn’t snuggle me during my first dive, he just held my hand. ;}~

Nice to know, does she still want to try dive again, is she still there as I would like to help too?

Sadly, this photograph was taken in the Red Sea at the historic WWII wreck of the SS Thistlegorm. The... erm... ’Instructor’... is making a ’try dive’ with an uncertified diver on a wreck situated to the west of the Sinai Pensinsula in Egypt. The site has heavy boat traffic and frequently strong currents and challenging surface conditions. The depth that the divers are currently at is around 55ft. The wreck sits in a maximum depth of 100-110ft.
The photograph was sent to the Chamber of Diving & Watersports in South Sinai last year when other divers were shocked to see this taking place at such a challenging dive site. I don’t know if the ’Instructor’ responsible for this ridiculous idea was ever identified.

No bubbles from her, possible a recovery, don’t see a back up reg. (unless the primary is an air two) Looks shallow, so roll her over and get her to the surface! Evaluate and tend!

I know whats wrong with this, if you look really closely you`ll see ahe has dry skin, yes DRY SKIN on the soles of her feet & the second stage hose is holding her bikini bottoms up as she is terrified of being found out, Poor girl, you`ve got to feel for the instructor who is doing his best to make her feel secure as this might be her first scuba session & she can`t afford to rent the gear? Come on, lets give it up for the instructor!!!
Greg

yeah the instructor does have a good grip around her chest. wonder how he sold that idea :)
Greg

in full disclosure, we are not sure if this guy is an instructor.

in full disclosure, we are not guaranteed that this so call girl is really female.
JoePagano

That is not a blow-up doll. The girl has a face mask on and a second stage in her mouth. They are sharing one tank and he is controlling their buoyancy. Lots of rules being broken.
