Folks, i finally found a US seller for these that has both the Small-Medium(which I was never able to find before) and Large-XLarge. I wanted one of these bad, but didn’t want to order from some rando in Europe via Ebay.

I received mine a couple of days ago for an upcoming trip in January. Got the Large, and have tried it at my gym pool (yes, people were looking at me like i was some type of freak) and its awesome. Just ordered a Medium for my GF!

I looked at their web site and the air goes back out of the snorkel so what looks like a purge at the bottom of the mask may be for any water that gets into the mask. These things are on ebay for between $90-$200 plus shipping in most cases.

When I saw them for the first ime it didnt occur to me to check on ebay...I do buy lots of stuff on ebay so dumb on me. I just check and off-course they are being sold at twice their cost...I guess I will wait a little longer...

The cheapest price I saw on ebay was $90. What is the normal retail price?

I seen it at 34 euro (45.49 USD) in their web site

When I saw this for the first time about a year ago I felt was the right answer to get my wife do at least go snorkeling w me. She has a hard time getting use to the mask and snorkling setup. So I watch every video and read all the articles about it. Then when I tried to get one I got so frustrated that I abandoned the whole idea. The reviews I seen all point it to be an excellent product. Their site explains in detail how it works...Also the factbtgey can’t keep enough in their shelfs tells me is a good product. ..I guess we all havevto wait until they can figure out all the US import laws and have enough in stock to ship and sell them in USA....

Isn’t ironic that we’ll let China export all kinds of stuff with toxins in them that are meant for our kids and we can’t get a simple mask here.

I suggest that if your wife can’t get over her fear factor, or intimidation brought on by a plain, old-fashion (newly updated) mask and snorkel, let her continue with hobbies/sports of her own liking, and you ginovega, find yourself a dive buddy. Afterall, you are on DiveBuddy.com. ;-)

Have you shown your wife lots of photos of other people having fun underwater?

It appears that the air is drawn in from the snorkel, passes through the the face plate area, then into the oral nasal and exhausted out of the bottom of the mask. This should prevent you from rebreathing any stale air and the air coming in from the snorkel should also keep the face plate from fogging. The oral nasal area will add some buoyancy to the mask but most of that area will be filled with your nose and chin so it should not be as big a deal as it might seem. Most modern diving helmets are set up in the same way but they have air coming into both the oral nasal through a scuba style reg and into the face plate area by a non-demand, diver operated, valve on the side block of the helmet. The only difference I can see is that a diving helmet can also exhaust air from the oral nasal area and the main body of the helmet. I can not see any way to exhaust air or water from the face plate area without it going through the oral nasal in this picture.

I wonder how buoyant it is? It really looks to have a lot of water displacement.

They recomend if you have a friend in Europe, have them go to the Decathlon store and buy for you....Good luck w that...They are not making enough for the demand....

You have to wonder how well they breathe. I would imagine that much open space would create too much stale air and it would be tough to route your inhales and exhales through the fresh air tube.

Greg, I wonder if the snorkel is for incoming air and the vents in the front are for exhaling air. It would interesting to test.
