Bought the first light I ever loved! This is a GoBe by Light and Motion. Rechargeable, lightweight, 700 lumens (or there’s a 500 lumen model but just spend the extra $100 for the 700), and you can swap out heads. There are heads ($90/each, I think) for photography, filtered lights, spots, wide angles, etc. the wrist strap and mount rocks, top. I hate holding lights, and I hate lights so heavy they jack up my weighting. I know this sounds like an ad, I’m not selling these, but thought I’d share a product I’m stoked about! Did I mention rechargeable??? :)

Good tip. I think that type of a product is a good idea. I know someone else who has a similar torch except it’s wrist mounted and doesn’t interfere with your hand at all. Handheld lights suck because you lose a hand to use them. And these type are much cheaper than canister lights. Also I like having the batteries permanently sealed so no o-rings to grease and leak. (My first torch was ruined by a leak.) A wrist mounted type will probably be what replaces my current handheld when it breaks.

I have a wrist/bike/head mount for my NiteRyder but they are no longer in business :(
