Paddleflap rhinopia having a yawn. What we perceive to be ’yawning’ is apparently fish speak for ’bugger off and leave me alone’! This shot was taken at Secret Garden, Anilao, Philippines.

I’ve heard that if you camp out in front of them they will eventually do this, just as your digital camera goes to sleep!

Frogfish do this all the time, but rhinos, in my experience, do it much less often.
