I’m on the Left and my Brother on the right. This day (7/23/17) was my Official First dive (Outside of training and a practice day). Molly Stark Lake, Minnesota. We did 2 dives, but only made it down to 25 ft. The thermocline was so cold we couldn’t stand it so we moved back up to 18ft where the thermocline Started. At one point we tried real hard to reach 30ft but again it was way too cold.
We saw Thousands of Blue Gill, Crappy, and Larger mouth Bass, a nice large Northern Pike, and our favorite of the day was a MASSIVE Walleye! It was without a doubt the biggest Walleye we had ever seen (about the size of my leg!!).. and that’s saying a lot since we live here in Minnesota! I Can’t wait to log more dives!
