It is a Splendid Toad fish, this one variety of toad fish is indigenous to Cozumel, so they say! But, I have not seem one like this anywhere else. So, they all may be right.....

I’ve heard they are elsewhere in the Caribean but deeper than we dive, in CZM they are in the shallows :)

That’s a really splendid Splendid toadfish! Was this Paridise reef in Coz or near C-53?
