I work as a professional musician in Las Vegas - I play for/music direct for shows from Forever Plaid to Phantom of the Opera to The Producers to Spamalot to... well, you get the picture. I’m also staff pianist at a large Lutheran Church, teach privately, and am a music paraprofessional at a local private high school.

All this, despite the fact that my degree from USC implies that I’m only qualified to play classical piano. (BM, Classical Piano Performance, 1996) Ha!

When I’m not performing/teaching/waving a stick at a bunch of musicians, I prefer to be underwater.

My new wife (as of June, 2009) dives too. We dove Lanai and Molokini on our recent honeymoon and LOVED it.

I have PADI OW and AOW certifications, as well as SSI Drysuit and Nitrox certifications.

Favorite type of diving? WALLS! Maybe I was just narked, but I still remember Bloody Bay Wall off Little Cayman as being an out-of-body experience.
