Hafa adai, I am a Nor Cal native recently transplanted to the fabulous city of Austin. Just made DM and have started my IDC here in Texas!
I’ve been diving for three years, primarily in beautiful, chilly Northern California (Monterey up to Crescent City, believe it or not), spent a lovely stint living on Guam, and have been discovering and enjoying the Caribbean and South Pacific one island at a time.
I’ve learned that sometimes just getting wet and using your gear can lift one’s spirits tremendously. To that end, I don’t view being landlocked as an obstacle, but more of an opportunity. I would have never guessed that reservoirs, lakes, water towers, and flooded mines could be dive-able until I tried and loved them all.
Currently completing my IDC with Karen Erickson at Diveworld Austin.
