Wow it’s been a while since I have done an update. I have 30 dives in now, wish there were more but they have been great and life gets in the way at times. I made it to Cozumel last year and can’t wait to go back. I had planed on doing a wreck dive tomorrow but with the small craft advisory going on it wouldn’t be the best time to be on/in the water. Oh well there’s always next week.
Life is Good

The weather has cleared well kind of and I was able to make a trip to Catalina and dive. I was on the Pacific Star and we headed for the quarry but the water was a little ruff so we ended up at Hen Rock where we were a little more protected. Visibility was about 50’ water temp. was about 60 degrees all in all it was nice to dive again. I have added a couple pictures. Happy DivingJ

Well I got my first open water dive in today. I also got my 2nd, 3rd, and 4th dives in also. I went diving on the Second Stage out of San Pedro to the old Rock Quarry off Catalina. What a blast and if there was ever a doubt about whether I wanted to be a diver or not there is no doubt about it anymore:-)

Here’s my story
I am married with a 5-year-old daughter and we live in Upland Ca. I work for a construction company in Rialto and LIFE IS GOOD.
I have loved the water my whole life, did a lot of snorkeling as a kid, and only dreamed about SCUBA. As I got older, I did not make time to enjoy the water as I used to but I told myself that when I got older I would have a boat on the ocean every body needs dreams. Now that I am a little older (ok a lot older), it is a little easier to afford the time and money for my passions of boating and underwater adventure.
I went to the local dive shop singed up for classes, bought my gear and was on my way.
Things were going ok but I was having some sinus issues. After a few trips to the ear, nose and throat doctor, I decided to have surgery on my sinuses. Not too bad but it was a little set back for getting my dives in so I could get my certification.
I have completed my open water, safe air and CPR/Firstaid classes and just need to go on my dives to be certified.
So this is why I am here and I hope to meet some great people.
Happy Diving and I hope to see you in the water.
