"Yes it was, incredible diving. We went 4 years ago when you were still able to do 4 dives a day and land tours. They don’t allow that now."

I’ve also heard you can’t do combo land and diving liveaboards anymore and the island walks among the boobies, seals and othe birds made for nice SI’s! Glad I made the trip before the rule changes, I’ve also seen some complaining on the sailing boards and they pay a lot more in fees and special fines (bribes) than divers.

Interesting that Ecudador clamps down on the tourist but not their own fishermen who hold Darwin reseach station hostage about once a year, Ray
