Hi there, my name is Lana. I got my open water certification in April of 2012 (SDI). I am a beginner and have been on ten dives including my four certification dives. I would love to gain more dives under my belt and am looking for some great dive buddies. I am a fan of Tacoma Scuba when it comes to checking out gear. I recently went diving in Maui and had the time of my life. Back to the Puget Sound area, excited to get out there before poor visibility sets in. Friends only; have a great day!

kahartsell - 5/07/2013 1:23 PM Hello, I will soon be up in WA in a few weeks. I was there in 2011 and love it. My husband is stationed (again) at Fort Lewis. I have never dove up there and im look forward to it. What type of suit do you wear? I own a 7mm and a 3mm but im not sure if i should invest in a dry suit bc i heard the water is cold but im not sure. Do you recommend any dive areas out there? brla0502 - 5/07/2013 9:04 PM Hey Kristina, I like to wear a 7 mm farmer Jane wet suit when diving around the sound. I’ve been to Redondo once but the vis. was terrible on my dive. I’ve also been on a fun few dives on the waterfront, but am looking to try somewhere new.
