I just got certified and looking forward to seeing and exploring the reefs I have been fishing for many years. I have a 18 foot center console, not perfect for diving but will get the job done. I have all my gear and am ready to dive, just need a buddy because none of my friends dive. I have a 4 day weekend Aug. 30th to Sept. 2 and can dive any of those days weather permitting. Send me a message if anyone is interested, I would like to dive the Rube Allen just because I have fished it so many times but willing to try any location from Homosassa to Venice. I hear the tanks near Anna Maria are cool.

Diving Guide to Underwater Florida by Ned DeLoach’s is a great book. With maps and directions for 600 of Florida’s best ocean and spring dives.
