Love diving! I reside in Salem, MA. Interested in diving in Boston area and North Shore. Also interested in diving in Maine. I grew up on Moosehead Lake and know of many dive sites with wrecks, walls, and other interesting things.

Directing a historical documentary: Sunken Steamboats of Moosehead Lake which will feature oral history interviews and underwater footage of the wrecks in the lake. OWC 2014, AOW 2016. Logged about 100 dives. Very much into underwater videography and photography.

I’m originally from the North Shore (Salem, Lynn area) but have been living in Florida for the past 21 years and use to warm and clear waters. My wife and I may be moving back up to Massachusetts around May of next year. I’ve never been diving in Mass and was wondering what the visibility and water temps are in the Gloucester/Rockport area. Happy to meet you and maybe someday you can show me around the oceans/lakes! rmrobbins - 10/18/2017 9:05 AM Sure thing! Visibility varies but it maxes out around 20’ from what I’ve seen around Cape Ann. Water temps in summer can hit 70F. There are some great sites, but access can be tricky as far as parking. While there’s much to see as far as marine life in the ocean, I actually prefer Moosehead Lake in Maine where I do most of my diving.
