Abalone in 2018!
Looking to carpool (I don’t own a car, just motorbikes) and share expenses for weekend abalone, sea urchin and lobster apnoea diving up the coast. I’m also keen to get into spearfishing.
Experienced scuba and apnoea diver, but limited abalone experience. California Hunter’s Education, Sport Fishing License and Abalone Report Card in hand.
I’d also be interested in Bay Area, Monterey and Tahoe scuba. Is anyone aware of independent clubs in the SF Bay Area? Time to get googling...

1200 hours of placer gold mining on surface supplied air as a young adult, years later watched a buoyancy control video before bed and then went drift diving at Molokini at dawn - I’ve since been certified. :D
