I’m a grad student currently living on the Great Lakes in Canada, but will be in Staunton for the next 3 years for school (starting August 2021). I am looking for some new dive buddies while I’m there to hopefully explore Fishersville quarry, some river dives, and potentially VA beach. I got my PADI open water cert at 15 in the Dominican but have since dove multiple sea and fresh water dives. I have mostly done walk in dives living on Superior, but still remember my boat dive experiences. I’m most comfortable above 80 feet but am cert’d to 40 m (130 feet) just not a huge fan as of yet. HMU if you wanna dive the end of this summer or if you’re in Northern Ontario and want to dive Superior or Huron wrecks with me!

DamnYankee - 6/17/2021 8:19 PM Hi Fallon, I just wanted to touch base with you and tell you about two shops that have dive days at Lake Phoenix. One is Richmond Dive Club, I think it’s $35 a year but, you get free admission to Lake Phoenix with your membership. The other place is Scuba Buddy’s just north of Harrisonburg. I dove with both of them this past weekend. I’m looking forward to meeting you and diving together.
