I am just completing certification as an Advanced Diver (PADI). I was a commercial diver in the early-mid 1970’s, and was actually a PADI instructor back then. I left that profession and did not dive for 47 years. I am a retired fire marshal and re-certified through PADI a couple years ago. I am equipped for dry-suit diving. My health is good, but I am finding it very difficult to move safely in and out of the water from the beach due to my age and the weight of the equipment. I’m looking for dive partners (or a club) that has some means of diving from boats,.. not involving the climbing and/or walking into and out of the water.
