Hey, All! I`m Jinx - an EMT and 911 dispatcher in Florida. I`m looking to become something really cool when I grow up: right now, I`m researching what it would take to be a Medical Helicopter Nurse, SWAT team Paramedic, Hyperbaric/Dive Nurse/Medic and/or Public Safety SCUBA Diver/Rescue Diver.
Only, here`s the thing: I`ve been a SCUBA Diver only a year, and all my dives in this past year have been led/taught by my now-former boyfriend. So, I have neither dive gear, nor the necessary connections of my own (yet!) in the dive community to keep moving towards my goal of becoming a professional lifesaving diver. Especially with all the dives and high-level instructors I`ll need in order to turn pro, that kind of leaves me...up a creek.
So, if you can help me, or can refer me to someone who can, please do! I`ve been told I`m great in the water, especially for someone so relatively new. And I`ve got the patients to prove I`m both a great EMT and emergency operator. Now, to bring these together...with some assistance from my new waterbaby community!
