Clarke, a native New Englander, has been an avid diver since 1981 & an instructor for over 25 years. His Professional Certifications include NAUI Instructor Trainer 6858L, PADI Master Instructor 31706, an SDI SCUBA Instructor, 13148, NAUI/ASHI 1st Aid and CPR instructor & a PSI cylinder inspector. He has numerous Instructor Specialty Ratings too. His love of diving has taken him to such diverse locals as the beaches of CA, The Channel Islands, Monterey, the Sonoma County Coast Line & Lake Tahoe. As a Group Leader, he’s lead divers to Cape Cod, Florida, Cayman Islands, Cozumel, Cabo, La Paz, The Bahamas, Belize, Bonaire, The Bay Islands of Honduras, Hawaii, Grand Cayman, Fiji, Palau, Malaysia and the underground/underwater mine/cavern diving operation in Missouri (of all places). When asked where his favorite tropical place to dive is, he answers "As long as the my friends are around, the waters warm, the critters & photo opportunities are plenty, I’m happy."
