I started my diving career in May 2005 by becoming a PADI Open Water Diver. As with most divers, what was once a way to pass the time has become an obsession. I became a PADI Instructor in May 2007, followed by EFR CPR Instructor, AHA BLS Instructor, 6-7 PADI Specialty Instructor ratings, and finally PADI MSDT. I’m currently working on my DAN DES instructor rating. I’m a computer programmer for a hospital corporation by day, a independent dive instructor at nights & weekends. I live & teach in the Nashville, TN area. We have 3-4 rock quarries around Nashville that we use for our open water dives, otherwise the Caribbean is where I like to be...specifically Bonaire. I’m retired Air Force, spending 22.5 years working on Nuclear Missiles in either North Dakota or California. I also hold a Private Pilot license, although I haven’t flown for 5-6 years.
