About me...
I tried ’Discover Scuba’ in July, 2008 at Bolongo Bay in beautiful St. Thomas and was so fascinated that I signed up for Open Water Diver classes at Southern Indiana Scuba in Bloomington, Indiana. Passed my check out dive at Half Moon Beach, Mitchell Indiana. I took my first ’grown up’ dive in the Bahamas in March, 2009. Upcoming dives? I went to Bonne Terre Mine in January, 2010, which was very cool. I also went on a Princess Cruise in March, 2010 and got to dive in Bonaire, Dominica and St. Thomas! Plan to also try to go to most all local dives in Indiana and Ohio this summer through the dive shop. I went to Mermet Springs twice last year (2009) and absolutely loved it!
As far as classes, I also took the Advanced Diver class, with specialties in Dry Suit, Underwater Photography, Peak Performance Bouyancy, Deep Diving and Underwater Navigator. I completed my Advance Certification in August, 2009 and completed my Rescue Diver certification in October, 2009. I am currently working on my DiveMaster certification and that may take a while, since I have less than 65 dives!
On the personal side of life, I work for Cummins, Inc. in Columbus, Indiana. My children are fuzzy...one Shetland Sheepdog named Flash and a striped tabby cat, who’s name is Chatty. I go on vacations twice per year and hope to always do so. Have been to most of the Caribbean Islands and Mexico...most of my info is on Facebook.
