Hello everyone,
I am wondering if anyone would have an interest in a Lionfish derby kind of like they did in Beaufort NC from Discovery Dive shop where they took 1-2 boats out, I’m not really sure how it went but basically since it’s such a long drive to get to Lions off of Charleston that a few dive company’s or just dive boats go out with boats full of divers who compete against each other and as a team per boat. I think this can be fun and bring more local awareness to the problem our oceans face. We can have a restaurant attached and either have cleaning demos, cook them all, or everyone can just keep them, who killed the most lbs, all kinds if stuff
I would love some feed back from anyone in the area,or outside the area that would consider driving or however out here hopefully there are a few local guys are on this list
