The luxury scuba diving liveaboard Indo Siren has been destroyed by fire near the Piaynemo Islands, Raja Ampat. All 15 guests and 16 crew on board were safely evacuated and there are no reports of injuries.
According to local reports, the fire broke out at around 7.45am on the morning of November 30, as the vessel was departing from Waigeo Island on its way to Fam.

Indo Siren was a popular choice for divers exploring Raja Ampat, regularly voted one of the best liveaboards in one of the best scuba diving destinations in the world. A 40m-long wooden-hulled motorised sailing yacht of the traditional Indonesian Phinisi design, she had been part of Master Liveaboards fleet since her launch in 2011.
