I’m thinking of upgrading from a Wisdom to a Peregrine and would like to hear opinions from anyone who has used the Peregrine.

Sorry for the late reply. Just now saw your post.

I bought two of the new Peregrine TX in June, one for me and one for my wife, just after it was introduced in May. I absolutely love it. It has several customizable fields so you can see what info you want on the home screen. The screen itself is big, bright, and very easy to read regardless of conditions. It has an excellent compass built in and has an induction Qi rechargable battery that will last for several hours of diving. We’ve had ours for 3 months now and we’ve yet to charge them.

As you may know, the TX is air integrated. If you don’t want or need AI, the Peregrine is the same thing without it, but also does not have the compass. You also would not get as much info with the Peregrine as you would the TX model since the TX displays info that is transmitter dependant.

I’ve never used the Wisdom so don’t know how they compare. I just know the Peregrine TX is the best dive computer I’ve ever used. If you have any specific questions, please ask.
