i either use a stinger and keep it with me, or if large jewfish or sharks around i use a black game bag and keep it with me. if someone is on the boat looking for you to send fish up, then just use a lift bag or safety sausage and send it up, don’t need to attach a line to it if there watching for it. the only time i would do that is if it were a large fish. good luck, Dan
