Yes, I really loved the diving. Unfortunately I can’t vouch for the other dive shops in Cuba but the one in Maria la Gorda was good. All the equipment was new i.e. not older than a year - if that. What I appreciated the most was how they divided divers into groups of generally no more than 4, each group with a dive master/instructor. So beginners would be with one dive master, intermediate with another and advanced with their own.
They then stagger entry with advanced going first, followed by intermediate and so on and the groups mostly stay seperate during the dive as well. In general, very professional and good large dive boats.

I wondered if the diving in Cuba would be good. Looks like it is. How are the dive shops?
