Hey Rick. I think I am subscribed to your youtube channel, because I saw this video weeks ago, probably as soon as you posted it. Didn’t you also post a video of some bug hunting off your kayak in the PV/King Harbor area?

Yes, I also posted a lobster hunting video. It’s a compilation of some different sites we hit in Southern California.

That’s what I thought. Your video convinced me to buy my kayaks. But I just recently sold them and got a small boat because my wife’s bad back wouldn’t allow her to paddle.

It’s awesome to see you on DiveBuddy! You are like a celebrity after that sea lion video. If you ever need anything, let me know. I hope you enjoy the scuba community we have built.

Btw, did you have another gopro camera strapped to your head during the video? And what’s it like doing a solo night dive?

Thanks! Yes I had a gopro strapped to my head along with my lighting, so I am able to do hands free video. For this dive I had a couple of friends anchored about 100 yards away, but it was essentially a solo dive. I have done quite a few solo night dives and it’s something I enjoy.

My boys said that it looked scary, and at first they thought you saw a shark or something.
