I am an active adventurer with a history in long-distance hiking. I’ve hiked the Appalachian Trail (Georgia to Maine), Pacific Crest Trail (Mexico to Canada), along with the John Muir Trail, Colorado Trail, Long Trail and Bartram Trail.

I became a certified diver in 2005, completed my Rescue Diver and Master Scuba Diver certifications with SDI in July 2007. My deepest dive has been 133 feet. My main interests underwater are reefs, photography, wrecks and walls. I really enjoy being around sharks, rays, turtles and dolphins.

I dive locally at Lake Jocassee, SC from late-April to October each year, and usually make several trips to Florida each year (Springs and Keys). I also take 2 - 3 trips to the Caribbean annually. So far, I have visited Jamaica (1x), Costa Rica (1x), Honduras (1x), Belize (1x), Bahamas (1x) and Mexico (5x).

My scuba page is located at trailquest.net/scuba.html .
