With our survey dives going on in Santa Monica Bay for Californiashipstoreefs.org it has put us on a new, very promising site in Redondo Beach area, near the Palawan wreck. A big Thanks goes to California’s #1 dive publication CaliforniaDiver.com for running the story! The ducks are getting lined up, acquired vessels, designated sink site has revealed all around A’s in analysis studies, to effect the beginnings of multiple ongoing artificial reef development. It’d be a good time to contact California Ships to Reefs and let them know you are interested in diving new artificial reefs in Redondo Beach! Start asking questions, it’ll go a long ways, thank you!

This part is so true..."They’ll whisk them away, quietly, to a Texas scrap yard, and create very temporary jobs, cutting them into pieces for melted memories."

Ships to reefs has a much more positive and long term effect on the local economy.

Kind of like sharks, in a way. Fast money is a growing competitor of long term value. The hopes of USS Kawishiwi landing in a square mile sink site that we worked on, for it, gone to Texas. The cost of maintaining these ships from a decommissioned date in the 90s...has got to be quite high. We’re paying for that. I just found this website, and they are quite fond of a final resting grounds for these more than important ships that were "all about long term everything." The scrapyard image is lovey. Open their latest arrival-Kawishiwi, a new look at what the site all about. Melting Memories. navy.memorieshop.com/World-Ports/Brownsville/

I’ve never had the feeling of "reaching the end of the rope," quite like I have just now.
