I’ve been diving off and on since 1982, and I finally started to get serious about six years ago (2006). I have never seen a need to check any boxes so I never went past OW, nor log dives. Now I think I’ll move forward on the qualifications so I can dive some cool spots. I’m working with Lee Burkett at Dedicated Dive Training outside of Knoxville. Unfortunately I’m not near any "close" water, with the exception of Dale Hollow Lake, then finding a fill location is another chore. I work(ed) part time at Loch Low-minn so I could get free air and dives. Now that I’m changing professions that will most likely no be happening. If you want to dive get with me, I’ll see what I can do.

TNRonin - 1/05/2013 4:48 PM Dove Pelham (Dive Alabama) today. Working on my nitrox, DS, and Deep (SDI). Water temps were 57 with no thermal. Viz was horrid, max depth 109’. Maybe we can go back when the vis is a bit better. That quarry can be very pretty. We only saw a small part of what’s there.
