Hey Frank! Just wanted to say that I loved reading about your family’s diving in Balmorhea State Park. Our family has also snorkeled/dove it and it was just amazing. I don’t know if I’ve written about our trip, maybe I should. Anyways.. thanks for adding information about ya’lls experience.

Did our first dive of 2013 last night. Night dive in the Comal River!! Water temp was cool but not at all cold. Vis: water cloudier than I remember it being last year. Still a nice dive

Howdy frank,

I live just south of you near Pleasanton, and also just joined this forum... my wife and I are hoping to go to the Comal next week for a dive and a picnic. would be to meet some new friends. give me a shout if your interested.

We’ve dove the Comal several times. It’s a good dive. Saddly, I have to go to Houston for a bowling Tourn this weekend so can’t make it. Keep me in mind if you guys want to come up some other time. BTW.. Duggan Dive is going to Balmorhea State Park at the end of the month. I hear this is a great dive and we are gonig to try and go!
