Hey there!
Experienced scuba for the first time in Hawaii, July 2013 (spoiled for life!), and instantly got hooked! Complete my open water cert in October 2013, and dived the Texas Flower Gardens a few weeks later. Qualified for Nitrox in July 2014. I’ve logged 34 dives and 1403 minutes bottom time in my first year of diving.
My preference is for salt water dives, but I don’t mind lake dives since it’s not always possible to get down to the ocean from Dallas on a whim.
Looking for the occasional dive trip on weekends, or during the summer.
A bit about me (not scuba related). I’m a South African citizen, currently a student at UNT. I’m majoring in Business & Computer Info systems, and Decision Sciences. I’ve been in the U.S since December 2012. Other interests include good food, movies (sci-fi, thriller), books and racquetball.
I am involved, but my partner has yet to try diving, so I guess that that makes me a Scuba Orphan.
