number one reason why I need my dive computer is because I do log my dives two weeks after the fact. So much for being disciplined about it.... the more you dive the more important a computer actually becomes. For the guy who only dives once or twice a year its probably not that big of a deal. Also logging multiple dives in a short period of time, the information provided can be essential to just being safe.
