Bitten by the water bug many years ago, finally able to act on it in 2016.

Continuing my education and experience beyond AOW. Finished Deep & Altitude specialties in late 2016, finished "Buoyancy" & Nitrox in summer of 2017, hoping to do Rescue late in 2017 or sometime in 2018.

Looking for dive buddies wanting to dive Lake Pleasant, AZ a few times a month, both in colder weather as well as warmer weather. Also looking for dive buddies for periodic trips to San Diego area, Blue Hole (Santa Rosa) NM, Lake Tahoe, & other sites.

aquaphile - 12/11/2016 11:30 PM Went boat diving on "Tech Island" at Lake Pleasant on 12/10/2016. Average viz: 15ft. Water temp: 57°F at surface, 54°F at 90 ft. Saw a few fish, including a nice big catfish ~2ft long. Viz dropped off quite a bit as it got darker with depth - even with a light, viz at depth was maybe 5-6ft.
