Most of the diving in Brooklyn, New York, is wreck diving from local charter dive boats. There are some shore dives that can be done on Long Island, New York, but they all require driving from Brooklyn. I own a Lexus SUV and hence can and do make shore dives, on occasion. I usually make shore dives in search of fish (spearfishing), or shellfish. Let me know if you are interested in diving in or near New York City. I am a Padi Master Scuba Diver and will guide you any way I can.
